Y.Collins was a lover of cultural sound right from the beginning. He has broken countless plates trying to play drums, He usually beats his cheek and lap even on the road all in the name of playing drums.
Y.Collins decided to join a cultural group called "Kungiyan Yan Krista" (KYK) in the year 1999, this KYK group is found only in west Africa in General, northern part of Nigeria in particular and Taraba state to be specific.
Y.Collins is a member of Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRC-N)
Y.Collins was raised, nurtured and mentored by his elder brother Mr Abraham Hassan Santana who happens to be a Professional songwriter/composer as well as a drummer.
Y.Collins younger Sister Mariah Hassan (Last born of the Family) is also a good singer and dancer. Y.Collins developed himself and disciplined himself to this stage, He is also a public figure in the Kykdom.
